recipe book giveaway

Mentone Primary School this year celebrates it's 120th birthday. As part of birthday celebrations, the school published a book of recipes submitted by local businesses, current and former school familes and staff.

With a multicultural school population featuring students from countries including Russia, Greece, Vietnam, the UK, USA and Turkey, just to mention a few, there's a wide variety of recipes to choose from.

I have a copy of this book to giveaway to one blog reader. Just leave a comment on this post by Monday 2 November to be in the draw.

I love when schools make recipe books. I remember having made one in kindergarden and my recipe I had put in there was rice pudding :)

I love recipe books -especially if they contain recipes I wouldn't be likely to come across in my own country.

The school my oldest went to in Perth when we were there celebrated its centenary that year. The kids exchanged letters with kids at aschool in Scotland, some of whom wrote back along the lines of, "100 years? You think that's good? My school is 350 years old." One-upsmanship in the my school is older than your school stakes...

Love school recipe books. They have tried and true recipes in them which is great. Brings me back to when I put one together for my sons school.
